Terms of Use

Pricing and Future Features

ColorSnap is free today. Optional paid features may be added in a later version. If that happens, the price and what it covers will be shown before any purchase, and nobody is charged without going through the official app store purchase flow.

Allowed Use

You may use ColorSnap for personal projects, design work, development workflows, educational use, and creative color exploration.

Color Accuracy

Color results may vary because of screen calibration, lighting conditions, camera quality, image compression, shadows, reflections, and the quality of the source image.

No Guarantee of Perfect Color Matching

ColorSnap is a practical color identification tool, not a certified color measurement device. The developer does not guarantee perfect color accuracy in every situation.

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for how they use color results from the app, including design decisions, development implementation, branding, printing, accessibility checks, or other creative uses.

Feature Updates

The developer may update, improve, add, remove, or change ColorSnap features over time to improve the app experience.

Distribution Through Google Play

ColorSnap: Color Identifier is published for Android and distributed through Google Play. Installing, updating, and removing the app happen through that store, so Google Play's own terms apply to the download itself alongside these terms. There is no iOS version of ColorSnap, and the app is not distributed through any other store or download site.

Privacy and Your Data

ColorSnap does not require an account, and color analysis runs on your device. The ColorSnap Privacy Policy explains what stays on the device, what the optional Help & Support form sends, and why it is the only feature that transmits information. If you have used Help & Support and want that information removed, the data deletion page lists the steps.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised when the app or the way it is distributed changes. Revisions are published on this page with a new last-updated date, and continuing to use ColorSnap after a revision means the current version applies.
